Beavers

On Tuesday evening, 10th June, our District Lead Volunteer Kevin (formally known as District Commissioner) came along to our meeting to present the Chief Scout Bronze Award to five of our Beavers: Adaline, Freya, Isla, John and Grey. Congratulations and Well Done.

They now move up to Cubs to start working on their Silver Chief Scout Award.

After the presentation all of the beavers went outside and did a litter pick around the church grounds and fill a black sack with rubbish.

We we are so very fortunate that in our parish we have active uniform groups which have been serving our young people since 1958 in the case of the Scouts and Guides since 1981. Quite some achievement and we should thank all the leaders and other volunteers who keep these great organisations ticking over.
