CONFIRMATION

The sacrament of Confirmation is generally celebrated annually and follows a preparation programme of around 10 sessions including a full day’s retreat. 

Candidates should be at least 13 years old by the date of Confirmation, or in year 8 at secondary school.  The programme reviews the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, Reconciliation and Confirmation set in the context of ‘Living our Faith’.
