Chorus Update for past, present and future members

Since the Newletter was prepared prior to Fr James' holiday, there has been a change to the Chorus news about the rehearsals that recommence on 7th September. This notice may be of interest to past memebers or if you have always admired The Armed Man by Karl Jenkins.

It is planned to perform the complete Armed Man, Mass of Peace at our concert for Easter in March next year. As this is a major work we will spend the half term from Monday 7th September until the October break beginning the rehearsals for the Armed Man. The rehearsals after half term in October through to Chrismas will be for the Christmas concert on 13th December. A little different to usual.

Past memebers may have performed The Armed Man many years ago and if you feel tempted to rejoin for this event, please do come along on Monday. Or perhaps you have always wanted to perform this Mass of \Peace; this is your chance now. There are no auditions to join ythe chorus and indeed, no requirement to be able to read music.

And in a plea to past members who may not want to join us this time, do you have a personal copy of the Armed Man score we used in the past. If so, would you be willing to lend it to us for the next few months. If so, email - se12quiz@gmail.com and we will arrange collection of whatever is convenient.
